Learn MoreMarine veteran. Twenty-year real estate operator. Bestselling author. Builder of teams, training programs, and leaders who refuse to coast — based in Miami, working with clients and audiences nationally.
David Adam Kurz has been closing real estate transactions for two decades. What started as one agent in South Florida became The Kurz Team at LPT Realty — a Miami-based group that has produced more than $500 million in team sales across luxury residential, investment, and relocation business, with a national referral network behind it.
He still leads the team day to day. Buyers, sellers, investors, 1031 exchanges, builder relationships, recruitment of top-producing agents into LPT under his sponsorship — the operating side of the business has never been delegated to a brand. It is the work.
To control the close as tightly as the deal itself, David also serves as a Partner at Nu World Title, giving Kurz Team clients vertically integrated transactions — same standard of execution from listing presentation through closing table.
The throughline across two decades: production that doesn't depend on a market cycle, and a team built to outlast any single year.
Before real estate, there was the Marine Corps. Ten years of active service in the United States Marine Corps taught David what most leadership books only theorize about: that high performance is a system — set the standard, run it, hold the line, repeat.
The Corps gave him the operating principles that still run his businesses today: clear chain of command, deliberate planning, after-action review, and the simple discipline of doing the work the same way whether or not anyone is watching. Those principles don't soften with time. They sharpen.
Discipline isn't a personality trait. It's a system you choose to run.
That conviction is why he founded the K Real Estate Academy — the production playbook he wished existed when he was building his first team — and the Freedom Achiever Method, the broader leadership framework he now teaches to agents, founders, and entrepreneurs who want a business that scales without burning the operator down with it.
The Marines built the operating system. Twenty years in real estate stress-tested it. The Academy and the Method are how he hands it to the next generation.
David is the bestselling author of three books. The most recent — The Truth About Failure — became an Amazon bestseller and is now used as a leadership-development text by teams, coaches, and ministries across the country.
He also hosts two long-running shows: the Forged Into Man podcast — conversations with operators on faith, leadership, and the cost of building something real — and The David Adam Kurz Show, his real-estate and business interview series.
On stage and on the page, the work is always the same: turn hard-won experience into systems other people can run. That is also the spirit behind Real Talk Con (the NU You Real Estate Conference) — the annual Miami-based event he founded to bring serious real estate operators into one room without the fluff of a typical industry circuit.
Education at his level isn't theory. It's a transfer of operating systems from someone who has actually run them.

Listen InA condensed view of the work, the credentials, and the platforms.
David lives in Miami with his family. Faith and family are the load-bearing walls — everything else is built on them. When he isn't running the team, the speaking calendar, or the podcast, you'll find him on the water, at his daughters' events, or in the early morning quiet that has anchored his routine for twenty years.
He mentors his daughters the same way he leads his agents and his Marines: clearly, consistently, and with a high standard that doesn't move. If we work together, you get the disciplined operator who shows up the same way for his clients as he does for his Marines, his agents, and his family.
If the work resonates, here's where to take the next step.
